How to create a pop up paper craft

It’s worth trying something different in our life. You will always gain a great feeling when you complete your amazing work. In this post, we will show you how to create a pop up paper craft by yourself. The paper model is London Eye. You will discover how important to have an eye for detail by this practice. It’s when you cut a piece of paper into little components, then assemble bit by bit together to create the world iconic London Eye in paper for yourself.

Before we start, make sure you have this Kirigami Kit

Here we go:

– Receive the London Eye template (2 pages) by leaving us your email address in the form below, you can print them in any colours of your choice.

– Use Cutting mat and Hobby knife to cut the 2 pages into little pieces. This step consumes a fair amount of your time, especially with those little pieces.

– Assemble all these bits. This is when we could easily make a mistake if we put them in the wrong order. Don’t worry though! You will learn as you go!

– Here we are, the finished London Eye in paper is in your hand!

Lesson to learn: You can do it together with your children. By doing this, they learn to analyse all the steps; how to put the pieces together; and how to solve the issue if some pieces are in the wrong order. Finally, they would learn to be patient to achieve the great result!
